STEP 1
VALIDATE THE
REQUIRED MINIMUM
DEPTH
Before taking your measurements, make sure that an interior installation with framing is possible for your window.
For this, the minimum required depth of framing must be respected, and you must ensure that no door handle or lock is in the path of the fabric's descent. If this is the case, options such as a reverse roll fabric or an exterior installation would be considered.
STEP 2
FOLLOW THESE
GENERAL TIPS
General Tips:
- Use a standard metal measuring tape.
- Measure to the nearest 1/8 inch. If the measurement falls on a 1/16 inch mark, round down to the nearest 1/8 inch.
- For interior measurements, record the exact dimensions from frame to frame of your window.
- Always indicate the WIDTH followed by the HEIGHT. (W x H)
STEP 3
TAKE THE
INTERIOR
MEASUREMENTS
Take the interior measurements as follows:
1. Measure the width
Measure the width at the top of the frame. Do not make any deductions, provide the exact measurement and always measure to the nearest 1/8 inch, rounding down if it falls on a 1/16 inch mark.
2. Measure the height
Measure the height at the center of the window from top to bottom. A framing depth of 3 1/2 inches is required to ensure that the cassette does not protrude beyond the window frame.
Note: It is possible that the cassette may still protrude beyond the frame, even if the minimum framing depth is respected. The minimum required depth is the minimum distance required for screwing in the bracket.
